Mr. Dolon is a prolific lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh specialized in Company Laws, Arbitration, Admiralty Law, Labour Law and Commercial Matters and Banking Laws. He also has a wide range of experience in Writ Matters, Service Matters having worked with different experts in these fields. He was deeply involved in some notable cases including Smart Jeans Limited vs. Accord Bangladesh (Reported in 23 BLC), Tullio Ferri vs. Helicon Limited (Minority Protection in Company Bench while there is a pending arbitration between the parties), QLM Malaysia vs. QLM (BD) Limited (winding up), etc.
Mr. Dolon has a good orientation in the field of Commercial Arbitration (National and International). He was involved in numerous Arbitration matters including Ming Yong Yang vs. Kuliarchar Sweater Industries Ltd. (Ad-Hoc International Arbitration), Tullio Ferri vs. Helicon Limited Ad-Hoc International Arbitration, Liberty Fashion Wears Limited vs. Tesco, Primark, Debenhams and Accord Bangladesh (Permanent Court of Arbitration, Hague), BM Energy vs. IKL (ICC, Singapore), etc.
Mr. Dolon completed his LLB and LLM from University of Dhaka with First Class in both the programs. He has pursued his second LLB from University of London. Afterwards, he completed his Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) from Manchester Metropolitan University. He was called to the Bar from Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2014. He obtained Primary Scholarship, Junior Scholarship as well as Scholarships in Both SSC and HSC levels from Barisal Board and Dhaka Board Respectively. He also obtained Dutch-Bangla Bank Scholarship for his result in HSC examination.
Mr. Dolon got enrolled to Bangladesh Bar Council in 2012 and was enlisted to Dhaka Bar Association in the same year. He got permission to practice in the High Court Division of the Supreme Cour of Bangladesh in 2017.
